Hi, you don't need to remove the temperature wheels or the control ***** to separate the unit from the housing. Just get a couple of small flat screwdrivers to hold the tabs back and pull it out of the housing.

I reached out to CL770 about having to remove the temp wheels & control ***** to disassemble the HVAC Control Module. The pictures he included in his original post showed these still attached. I received the feedback above.
