Restoring the headlamps is easy and, although the misting may look as if it is on the inside, it is generally not (on a most cars). I did my Crossfire a month or two ago with the "headlight restoration system" product in the attached photo. I also used it last week to do a friends PT Cruiser's lights. You need an electric drill, the kit, some water, a sponge/cloth and about an hour of time. There are a lot of kits like this for $20 - $30 (mine was UK £25), and they do a good job and will do 2 or 3 pairs of lights. Hope this helps.
