Default Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?

Took the opportunity to clean the wheels after I got home from TPMS service this morning. I took the center caps off and removed the locking lug bolts on each wheel before I left for Discount Tire. Realizing the wheel center hubs were somewhat dirty, took the time to wash each wheel thoroughly after I got home. Re-installed a locking lug bolt on each wheel & then re-installed the center caps.

I did find the lug bolts on the DS wheels to be "over-torqued" after Discount Tire did their work. Fairly typical when I have wheel service done. Most of the lug bolts were up around 90-95 ft-lbs, instead of the 80 ft-lbs spec. Their shop ticket even stated the lug bolt torque was to be set at 80 ft-lbs! Doubt any of the Service Techs (using that identifier is a stretch) even look at the shop tickets.
