Just an FYI, the sensor is parts of the glove box lamp switch. Thanks for all of the input.

OPERATION The Glove Box Lamp/Switch contains two separate switches; one for control of the illumination, and the other to sense the glove box door position. Power is supplied through Fuse 31 in the Underhood Accessory Fuse Block for the lamp illumination switch. The Central Locking Pump/Security System Module receives a ground signal from the second switch when the glove box is opened. Neither of these switches can be adjusted or repaired. If faulty, worn, or damaged, the entire Glove Box Lamp/Switch assembly must be replaced.
