Default Re: R-Titled SRT

Farmers Insurance is one company that will not insure a Crossie with a salvaged title for comprehensive alone, no collision. I asked them for a quote on the Rescue SSB SRT6 and they told me that their report said "Severe Flood Damage" and that they wouldn't insure it. I asked them whos report added the word "Severe" to the description. They couldn't answer. Truth is that the car went through the State of Florida's $100.00 "inspection" and passed where they issued a new title, Rebuilt(flood). Not one use of the word "Severe" which is wasn't severe. I have put over 30,000miles on it with only an alternator issue. Water never entered the interior compartment of the vehicle. So, don't be afraid of the salvaged title but DO inspect the car before purchasing as previous posts have indicated.
~ I learned the phrase" I drive a car, not a title" here on the forum and use it often.
