Interior or exterior latex.
Interior would peel off fine, as said before if there was still a coat of wax on it, it should be easier.
The latex shouldn't hurt the oil base .

It must be scary to hear, but once it cleaned off and detailed, shouldn't know a difference.

I have had exterior latex that got alot of over spray on a windy day by a f*&>÷n$ d*[#@[s$ r(#<÷t and I didn't know till it was already dry, but some wd40 and a rag took it off.
