Thanks folks. Kept digging and I found a thread about using the open end of a crescent wrench, I used 5/16 and slip it thru from the top on to the socket. Remember "lefty loosy and righty tighty". 1/4 turn and the socket will come out, pop out the bulb and reverse the procedure. You can use a finger to hold it in and the with your wrench on the fitting you can slowly turn it. If difficult to turn,slip the end of a screw driver through the box end of the wrench and use leverage for a turning motion. Ten minutes per side when you know what to do. I put in LED's.
