There are two pumps!! Whats the smaller one for? That's where the frontmost hose was connected on one side to. The inner fender liner is sectioned in that the entire liner didn't have to be removed to gain access to the IC pump. Looking at the numbers on the one we replaced I discovered, either the car was built with the 010 pump, or someone had already changed it, so now I have a spare on the shelf.
The mystery tiny hose was connected to the blank nipple on the IC pump and the other end traveled along a larger hose then made a down-turn then went to nowhere like a vent of some sort. Anyway, the hose crisis is over..all is good, I can go back to working on the Vega.
