the manual (page 221) says that "under normal operation conditions, the fluid installed at the factory will give satisfactory lubrication for the life of the vehicle. fluid changes are not necessary unless the lubricant has become contaminated with water."
the moral is that better check it. you never know how is it until then. and use exactly the oil recommended. i did.
