Well, I didn't say it was a BETTER deal than what I have. I said it was about equal, when you consider the $4000 would add about $102 per month...

Yes, residual would be more important to those who are buying, or those who may terminate the lease early. If I (and perhaps others) plan to keep the vehicle for 39 months, and then give it back, the residual may be less important than the monthly payment amount. Obviously, the higher the residual, the lower your monthly payments would potentially be.

I am just curious what type of 39 month lease payments people are being offered now, with the rebates and sales push. Mine was 39mo/39,000 miles, $20,000 residual and zero out of pocket.
