1 Carl from your post quote " Took left one and placed in right ... not working"
I wouldn't expect the bad bulb to work; Try putting the right bulb into the left. ( I'm sure you did, just reading what you wrote)
2 Break out the volt meter and check for power 12v DC.
3 Clean the bulb sockets contacts
