Thanks for the reply, I will double check the part number. I'll be back from work in a couple of weeks and look at it then. The part number has a [08] at the end, maybe that is a version indicator that I have missed ......
I have checked the part number - should be OK. I have also had confirmation that the SLK (from where I got the used part) did not have a airbag on/off switch just like my crossfire does not have such a switch.
The DTC code reads: «Front passenger seat occupied, child seat recognition B48. DTC Status: coding faulty»
I was adviced that a seat mat emulator would probably work - I bought an emulator, but can´t find corresponding wires under the seat to those on the emulator - the emulator of course is made for SLK R170.
Any ideas? Anyone know what cables under the seat (see pictures
