I thought from first glance of the crank sensor , it must get pretty hot despite the skimpy heat shield so I'm going to wrap mine w/ some very high temp matting that is used in furnace fire boxes , kilns , etc & secure it w/ safety wire or maybe a thin 2024 aluminum shroud . It may prolong its function .
