That may prevent that ABS actuators from kicking in but remember, the ABS/TC has two components. One is the ABS actuators, which you have eliminated by disconnecting the cable, but there's another component that limits engine torque which you need to look out for. I don't have the specifics on it right now but I remember reading in the service manual. I will see if I can dig up a reference for you.
