Today I installed a
Midland MTX105 GMRS 2 way radio Midland MTX105 GMRS 2 way radio
- This radio is recommended by Pizzaguy (Our communications expert)
This will ensure good communication when leading / driving in groups at the many Crossfire events I attend regularly every year
I mounted the bracket to the bulkhead wall with Velcro resting against the top of the bracket holding my windscreen
The radio slides out from the bracket to see the face to adjust volume or change channels etc.
Plugs into the lighter for power so no more low batteries to be concerned with
The speaker faces out at head level to hopefully avoid needing and external speaker when my top is open.
