got another set of names of components: skreem, bcm, pcm, ecu, immobilizer controller
and still would like to learn which are part of the whole system.
The skreem, ecu and key as set from
one crossfire is enought. But look that the ecu has the same part number as yours. If not you can get severall errors if you have an manual shiftet and buy an set from an automatic transmisssion the car would not start because the p or n signal from the automatic transmission would missing.
You can copy the needed keys from the skreem out of the new ecu in your old so that the car starts with the new skreem and your old ecu, I had make this several times.
