Insurance update on my claim....... GEICO sent me to their area collision repair where I left the car for estimate and repair. Today I was told their area rep coming to see my car in next 24 hours and make assessment.....the repair estimate is above $3,100 and will be considered for “being totaled”.

other than the damage on the door, the car is in mint condition. What should my strategy be.....what are my options ?? I have $500 deductible.
