Default Re: bcm for crossfire

thank you very much for the detailed explanation. my BCM works fine. it is that i like to have as many parts available in case 1 goes south. i already have 1 spare that i got cheap but would like to learn to test it if is ok.
am getting other parts that are easy to install and dont require some expensive scanners and knowledge (although am learning about some scanners that dont cost an arm and a leg), such as camshaft and crankshaft sensors, and a ground cable, for instance, that prevent possible failures. but there is so much to learn, and am having fun doing so. i was fascinated with the car, but was not until recently that i have been able to get 1, and when i learned about this group, am having the time of my life. a fantastic car, and so much to learn! and you guys are welcome with any comment and ideas.
at the end of the day, what am trying to learn is for the purpose of reducing the chance of finding myself stopped midway to nowhere or not being able to drive it anymore, that is all.
but seems that, with the advent of electronics, we are deeper every day into something that is unavoidable-and that is increasingly further out of reach.
