The idea of Lojack when the car was new is fine, I just don't care for being held hostage by them. Amazing I can buy a new module and keys by walking in the dealer and presenting my ID and registration but the same will not release their bond. I will NEVER buy another used car that I believe to have a Lojack in it. I've looked under the dash on both sides, in the front and rear pillars and in each rear fender and in the well where the door lock module is at. I guess the kickpanels are next. Any info appreciated, even if it is what system they were using in 04. Mine also has the fob system that alerts you if it moves without the fob present.
