Hey all, I'm looking at some winter upgrades for my Autocross car. We run pretty long (mile +) courses and I'm constantly riding the rev limiter, and shifting to 3rd usually doesn't make sense. My thoughts were to swap in the SRT6 differential for the higher gears, and while I'm at it add a LSD unit. My car is a 2005 limited, NA, 6 speed car.

Questions:

#1 The actual diff housing is same between them, correct? (I'm thinking I will need to swap the driveshaft connector and maybe the axle connectors?)

#2 Has anyone looked at this unit? - https://www.tractionconcepts.com/2000-2004-Mercedes-Benz-SLK32-AMG-LSD-Kit-p/tcxcmbcus1.htm - About 1/2 the price of the Wavetrac unit.
