You and Wolfstalker are a great resource for us who have legit problems I don't have time for nasty bullies . As you are respectable and I am grateful for the respect shown towards me from members like you . I have painful Rheumatoid arthritis and limits my ability to do as much as I would like I don't know when to stop and then I suffer for days . I don't have a garage to store my car so I am limited in the winter . I have had my XF since Nov 2018 and still learning from this awesome tool , ( this forum ) I wish you all the best and am happy to know there are kind people in this world. Some see kindness and patience as weakness > I will always try to be kind to everyone even if they repeat themselves 100 times

I have read peoples attacks on your messages. These crossfires are intricate pieces of equipment unlike any other auto I've ever experienced. Because we are dealing with both Chrysler as well as Mercedes it multiplies the problems. I am guilty of asking questions repeatedly but every day I learn a little more from those who are indeed patient. Let me give you an example pls. It was only a few days ago that it was confirmed that the PCM<<<ECU<<< AND ECM are actually all three one in the same. members have referred to each and I was lead to believe these were three separate items. It was Wolfstalker who confirmed my suspicions that they are one in the same. I listed my phone number earlier and you are most welcome to put me into your phone contacts. Unless you have international calling you are best to confine our personal conversations to texting which doesn't cost anything. if you have questions I would be happy to talk them thru. I will always be patient and respectful knowing we all are on a mission to enjoy our crossfires.
As mentioned earlier I purchased two Skreem modules from a British Columbia Canada auto wrecker.
While on the phone talking with Curtis the Wrecker owner I made an interesting discovery.

Are you ready for this ,,,,,,,,, I want all members to hear this !!!!!!!!!
They have a crossfire power train and car that has only 34 kilometers on it. That's 20 MILES!!!! don't laugh ,,,pls just listen.
The car was donated from the Chrysler dealer directly to The college where they teach automotive mechanics. The only miles on the car are from the dealership to the college when it was brand new.
The powertrain was never taken apart . Much of the car has been dismantled and an entire rear quarter was removed for an insurance claim.
Curtis wants 2000 Canadian for the engine and guarantees it for 90 days. That's $1400 in American money. I didn't ask how much for the transmission or rear end but if someone out there wants a very unique engine ,,,here it is. As Curtis said himself the only reason that they still have this documented basically zero mile power train is simply because these crossfires have a nothing short of bullet proof power train. Somebody will appreciate this information and can contact me for the phone number . I am 61 and suffer with a failed left knee replacement. the knee for the last five years swell to the size of a power pole . I was a professional bull rider 35 years ago and after a wreck shared a room with a guy named Humpty Dumpty . We were both broken up pretty bad. For the last 35 years I have been a rodeo broadcaster all over Australia, the northern states of the US and Canada as well. All the while I was employed from Age 18 to 60 at Agrium Potash Mine. 42 years and loved every min of it. Im now retired and trying to enjoy my crossfire.
