Hi Bob , Here are my suggestions.following is the list of crossfire issues.
Problem 1 Cam shaft sensor can go with no notice . Amazon has them . carry a spare in the glove box
Problem 2
Crank shaft sensor same thing
RCM module failure. Suddenly car wont start ,,, will turn over but wont fire. If it does this twice and the third time there is nothing its probably the RCM. Its in the box beside the
battery. There are many links to its easy removal. I sent mine to a guy in Arizona who is the master . he not only re solders the poor factory work but checks and or replaces any faulty relays. By a spare off
ebay for $100 and mail your working unit and the new one to D.J. Just ask if you need his address. It is cheap security .Not only will your one in the car keep working but you will have a redone spare in the glovebox.
Next two problems are these. There are absolutely zero keys or skreems available for the crossfires. These items are discontinued. Wolfstalker found Bryan who is the owner at mobile Diagnostics and Programing in Florida. Go to their website and click on more at the top. the bottom option is Crossfire Problems. They can create keys that operate the vehicle as well as fix your skreem unit witch is located just behind the speedometer or just double check the skreem you have that is working or if you buy a couple from a wrecker ,,,they can clone them to your car.
All of the major disabling problems are hopefully resolved with 100% of the recognition going to Wolfstalker. Wish I could meet him in person . he is a dog on a pant leg, never tiring individual who got the crossfire community where it is today ! any questions about part numbers or location you can email me at
