FYI, rob265 in the UK recently posted that he bought VIN #83,110 (the new machine grey color; he uploaded pictures of the difference) and that it was manufactured in August 2005. That VIN seems strange in light of your report that only 66,620 units were manufactured through calendar year 2005, assuming that the VINs progress in an orderly and uninterrupted sequence. With the Crossfire, though, it seems that almost everything is strange...
