Re: help me / where is the neutral safety switch in my chrysler crossfire
sending prosperous prayers your way.
Additional question. Are the symptoms of a neutral safety problem the same as the RCM where car does not crank? Scouring these pages and others it seems that my issue was the RCM, which was repaired by DJ, but it has 4 times since the RCM repair more than a month ago also not started. But it does start when put in neutral. I don't think it is the Crankshaft Position Sensor or the Camshaft Position Sensor since it appears that the car begins to start and then dies as the symptoms for those. Is that correct? I don't see many posts on the neutral safety switch and I want to be sure that this is the issue before I send my mechanic down this road.
If so, does this repair require pulling the tranny? Any sources for a new switch?
Thanks in advance.
