It depends. If I don't drive my car often the lifters get noisy at startup. The lifter noise goes away if I drive the car often or get the oil up to temperature for an hour or so. I've read about this concern for years and the issue seems to be, to me anyway, more from a lack of use than real problem. Go for a long drive and check back.
