My spoiler has been stuck in the down position for a couple of years. I didn't some brief troubleshooting but didn't come up with a fix.
I replaced the struts at about 80,000 miles that really buttoned the ride down.
I bought my 2004 low-VIN Crossfire new in 2003 and I still have people asking what it is - thinking it's some new exotic. It really does look new.
They do look new to me, certainly not as aggressively styled as some of the newest stuff, but certainly doesn't look like it rolled off the assembly line in 2004 (think 2004 Ford Taurus)..... and to be honest, it is really strange driving a car that is so unique...… that I don't have anyone to wave at!!
I have 2 NA Miatas….. a few of those on the road, so a few waves. I also own a C4 Corvette Roadster..... lots of Vettes out there, so lots of waves.
Kind of lonely not having anyone to wave at!! The looks this car gets when I am driving around town though...… amazing.
Question though..... do the XF have struts?? I thought they were shocks and springs front and rear.
