Not quite yet ... it is better, but still unreliable. After much discussion with Josh Chase, we determined that the ECM might have some problems. We found a salvage ECM and I sent my ECM to him to have the salvage ECM cloned with my car's information. When I got it back, the car was still exhibiting the no crank problem but if I disconnected the negative batter cable for a while, the car would crank and sometimes start. Now, this is NOT the "normal" SKREEM issue (3 tries then nothing until you disconnect / reconnect the battery cable). I can get it to crank and start from time to time. Other times, it will crank and not start a couple of times and after that it will not crank until I disconnect / reconnect the negative battery cable. This might be pointing to a SKREEM that is on it's way out, or something entirely different - I have no idea at this point. I have been pretty busy and haven't had a lot of time to work on it much, and with the holidays coming, I'm sure my time to work on it will become even less, but I am not giving up (yet). I am not driving it since I still cannot trust it, but this week, everyday when I get home from work, I will attempt to start it. Typically, it will crank, fire, but not start on the first try. The second try will either start it or do the same as the first. If it doesn't start on the 2nd try, the 3rd try will normally not crank ... BUT if I keep trying, two or three more tries will result in a successful start. So, I am able to get it to start without having to mess with the battery, but I still can't trust it.
