Default Re: Humblecrossfire won't start-anti theft issue UPDATE

Greetings,

I started a new thread because I have updates to my last post. I spent the greater part of today with a friend who used to work on bmw cars trying to resolve the issue without shelling out 2K at Chrysler dealership.

1. After discharging battery for an hour, the car started. I turned it off and it started again without cutting off.
2. After letting the car run while parked for about 20 minutes, I turned it off and it still started.
3. I closed the door and opened the door (but did not lock the door)--car starts.
4. I closed the door, locked the door with the key (manually) and noticed that it only locked the driver side and not the passenger side.
5. I used the key to unlock the driver's side and the alarm lights started blinking and now the car will not start again....there's no alarm sound because fuse #9 was removed.
7. The reason I lock manually is because the panic button is cracked (been like this for two years) and I ordered a new key. I have the new key but it cannot be programmed according to the dealer because of the anti theft issue which has to be resolved first as they said something is preventing them from programming the key.
8. I am not sure if I mentioned this in my first post but my alarm has been going off randomly for the past year but two days ago is the first day that my car won't start.
9. Basically, I feel like I am kinda back to square one but I can confirm that the fuse took away the sound and the battery being disabled for an hour allowed seemed to help the car start up. BUT locking and unlocking doors triggered the alarm again and something is happening where my car won't start--I do not know what is triggering the alarm to go off randomly and to which the problem has worsened from sound annoyance to actually shut out.

Car is 2004
Battery is 1yr 3mos old
Automatic
only one lock (drivers side)---no key lock entry for trunk or passenger side---only on driver side.

Your kind advisement is truly appreciated.

Why start another thread? This is a mistake. Anyone answering this thread has to go back and look at the questions and answers in the old thread and see if their answer has been given before and proved to be wrong.Even you cannot remember what you wrote in the first post. I have some answers but you should tidy up your first post.
Erase the question in this post and just say see the original post, add a link if you know how.and add this update to the original post.
