Also the cracked panic button should not be a problem on your FOB. You can still use the lock and unlock buttons on the FOB. Many of us have the red rubber on the Panic button torn and even missing, but continue to use the normal lock unlock buttons on the FOB. You should try those buttons and see if they work.
