I have been reading thru the service manual and it appears the light comes on when the oil level drops below 4.25 liters. Other oil issues related to temp or pressure set DTCs but they can’t be read with generic readers. Now, does anyone know if the level sensor for the light is the same sensor that is inside the pan?
I assume it is the same sensor, I would perform the checks outlined in the 2004 Service Manual using a digital volt meter.
