I bought some 1/8 inch bungee cord ,https://www.ebay.com/itm/USA-1-8-x-1...sAAMXQt~hSKlHI, cut the old cord out at each end. Measured out the new cord to about 2/3rds the length of the pocket. Tied a couple of tight knots in one end. I was able to separate the panel from the door just enough to push the knot through the hole. Wove the new cord through the net an did the same thing on the other side. It's not a perfect solution , but it works
