I was able to separate the panel from the door just enough to push the knot through the hole. Wove the new cord through the net an did the same thing on the other side. It's not a perfect solution , but it works
That sounds like a good plan. They are getting old and starting to sag just like me.
I wonder if a 1” nail pushed halfway through 2” from the end and then it and the bungee chord are pushed through the hole. I think the nail would return to 90 degrees and stop the bungee chord coming out. Do it both ends and your done
