Hi mine has not broke like that .. the car was facing downhill and the wind was blowing .. has I pulled the door to the wind got it again and the whole handle snapped off .. leaving the parts with the screw/bolts in the door ..at present I am trying to glue it but I’m not sure it will last .
What is shown is the normal breakage, if yours is different please show us a picture of your problem.
I tend to think yours is vary similar to that shown.
