If the weather holds up as it has every Sunday of labor day Weekend for the last 15 or so years I'll go to the Vintage Fall Festival at Limerock Park on Sunday. Best Car show on the East Coast in one of the best settings. The drive to the show is as good as the show. Beautiful, single lane, curvy, paved roads in tree covered mountainous terrain, running along a rolling river, with fisherman fly fishing, people kayaking, tents pitched in campsites along the river, with people cooking breakfast over campfires. It rolls like that for about 15-20 miles. I usually go with 3 or more good friends (guys) so a larger car is in order. Memorial Day weekend they held a first ever Sunday Car Show by Hemmings Magazine for Sports and Exotic Cars. I went with my wife for the first time in years and finally got to take my XF Roadster. Top down all the way, magnificent weather, picnic lunch on a hilltop overlooking the fields of cars with your wife of 30+ years. It doesn't get any better than that. If thats what heaven is like I'm ready to go. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
