They say it will not read boost

I was always curious which map sensor was used, NA and SRT use 2 different map sensors.

some map sensors only read negative pressure some positive pressure

And a NA engine has imuch higher compression than boosted models so will not handle much boost before a big problems.
That makes a lot of sense and it might explain reports I found that the Kleemann will only work if installed by Kleemann themselves. Read of people having bad luck with their Kleemann DIY trials. Kleemann probably takes care of the coding etc.

This is why I started looking at V8 swaps. Because I want a manual and as a manual swap in a SRT6 is a nightmare, and boosting the NA V6 seems impractical, a V8 swap seems not only more straight forward but probably even cheaper. Or at least not more expensive. Well, definitely it's proven to be possible at least. Quite a few V8s done by now. But I only saw one Crossfire for sale which had a Kleemann supercharger installed. Seller claimed 320hp, which is in the ballpark Kleemann claims themselves.. The kit cost new around 10K. Never saw a SRT6 with a manual swap. But V8 swaps seem quite common. Now that I found out that it's possible to have the V8 with a manual without any problems, it seems a V8 swap is in my future. I already located M113 engines for peanuts. Even saw a NA M112 for 200!
