The actual key part was embedded in a tree

as difficult as this may be to do. You need to find the chip.

All you really need is the Chip you can replace the case with those found on Ebay
the circuit board can be pulled out of another used/ worn XF fob from another car.

ots the only way to get a fob without having to send all of your items in
