Our heads hit the metal support piece that runs across the soft top, and thus, in no way would either of us be able to comfortably drive the roadster....test drive ended rather abruptly.

According to this thread, there is not any reason to look for a coupe to test drive, as it will have even less head room; most likely due to the liner and insulation? I know the answer, I guess.....just can't believe proportions of us taller folk can be so drastically different. So, I thought I would post here in the hopes of someone telling me there was a limited run of XF roadster's back in 2005 with much less head clearance.... sigh!

Soooo....my dream of owning a XF is dead; feels like I lost a best friend that was always there..... somewhere....but we never met (cue violin music)
