Hi once again,
I try to help you and spent a couple of hours on internet.
The Crossfire has projector lamps which is a little bit easier to convert. And sometimes they are already from factory prepaired for both LHD and RHD. Then there is only a mechanical switch (Halogen bulb) to change which side. I couldn't find any instructions for Crossfire, I also search Mercedes from the same years. I think inside the lamp house they are alike. But couldn't find any information in that case either.
This is from another car to show how it's done:

And here how the mask looks like when you have to replace it (from another car):

Maybe someone who has a smashed Crossfire headlight can take it apart and investigate ?
A bad but simple solution is to just add a tape on the front glass, but not recommended and maybe note legal more than temporary:

You find both new and used headligths on Ebay, look very carefully that you get the correct one for France's street driving:
Search on Ebay with "chrysler crossfire headlights".
But it's to complicated for you if I understand it correct to change the headlight, then maybe better to let the workshop buy these headlights, they maybe had better price on it, ask them. There must be someone in France that are specialist in this because there are a lot of Brittish cars in France.
If you Google after more general information, use "projector headlights lhd rhd"
Sorry, that was all I could find.
