really i was 8; my brother was 11, when we got out first car, cost $75.00 a 1929 model A roadster it would go 75 miles an hour , My brother took me to a empty field and said: drive!,,,( my first time on the track ,drag racing was when i was 14 we had raced all around town ,Naples fl. 1956,, but that was my first with someone with a flag that would start the race. a real drag race..still at it today
then we moved to the big city Miami fl and I remember nothing..jim
