(Get a ratchet model that holds tha clamps open, I also got a cable type so you can reach just about any clamp) Worth every penny.
Can anyone tell me what
the name of this tool is for "magically" releasing and (I assume) installing factory fuel-hose clamps is?
I have 4 regular type G hose clamps directly securing the fuel filter that can be released using normal tools. The thing is if you squeeze/pinch most of the fuel injection hoses you'll notice age/drying cracks in them and that they've hardened with age, so I was thinking of perhaps replacing many of these as well once I've looked up the part numbers and prices. BTW my naked eye tells me this looks like
5/16" fuel-injection hose, custom-molding notwithstanding. Is that correct? Has someone already researched the part numbers for all these hoses already, or will I have the fun all to myself?
