Hello. I recently replaced the key fob shell on one of my keys due to the original shell being worn out. I replaced it using an Amazon replacement shell, and everything seemed to go smoothly. I put a new blank key in the fob when I tightened everything up, and the remote functions to lock and unlock the car worked just fine. However, I decided to swap in the original key into the fob so I could make sure the car started, but all of a sudden the remote would not work, and the car would not start. I made sure the transponder was in place, and I also flipped the batteries both ways to make sure it wasn't that. Now no matter what I do, the fob wont lock and unlock the car. My spare works just fine at locking and unlocking, as well as starting the car. Literally the only thing I swapped from the time it worked was a key blade. Could someone please help me out?
