~ The shifter shifts in and out hard you said. Does the dash display the correct mode of the transmission when you shift or is there a square block displayed?
~ Did you clear the codes after you replaced the aftermarket conductor plate?
~ Did a visual inspection of the Transmission Control module reveal fluids?
