Convertible top gets VERY hot
The metal cowl which contains the convertible locking handle, gets extremely hot when either parked or driving during the summer.
(And of course, it is right above my head)
This causes the AC system to overwork and fail to cool the car during some of the hotter days here in Las Vegas.
Does anyone else have this issue when parking or driving in the sun?
I've looked thru parts diagrams, and do not see any insulation between the top itself and the cowl, so I would think we all have this issue.
