I resealed mine when both bottom corners started to separate, it lasted about six months then it started separating on the sides and on the bottom from where the repairs were made. Again, fixed this and it lasted about three months in the dead of summer started seperating where it was not repaired. Maybe i should have separated the window and repaired it all the first time but did not, I replaced the top last September and couldn't be happier with it.
