[QUOTE=onehundred80;943688]Living in Canada I would not buy summer tires again, when the temperature gets to 50 degrees F. the tires get too hard and become a bit hairy. I like my Hankook Ventus tires fine but never again. The car is off the road by the middle of October at the latest or as soon as I see they have sprayed some roads with that liquid ice melter they use.]
Same as I tell many people, summer only tires are exactly that "Summer Only"
It is dangerous.
I have loved my michelins, but with being runflats, the 285's can not be mounted on oe wheels, they can have problems sealing.
when I had my oe wheels I had several other 275 & 285 's on, like gmax, dws, dws06, etc etc etc
these are hands down, best "All Season" tire, doesn't matter the road condition, they stuck good.
previous set I took off was time to change and low on tread depth, and had winter xoning up, so I threw on a new pair, but still lower on tread, and they still preformed alot better than expected in heavy rain.
