Default Re: Water damage to my amp? Only right front plays

Wait. . . the amp is only a 2 channel amp? I had read a sticky that it is a 4 channel I thought. Still would like to know why i have a dead channel . I checked all 4 coming out of the radio (left front/rear & right front/rear) and had power and they used the correct plug to work with the factory plug So all 4 channels have power. I assume Power is going into the amp since none of those wires look like they have been clipped or messed with. SO it could simply be that the wire came off the door speaker? I wonder how the amp handles the two rear channels sending all that power to them? I have been reading how guys are clipping wire 17 and 19 . .blah blah, LoL at my age I cant hear anyway but I do want sound from both sides of the car at least. Sucks that I bought another amp for 100 bucks only to find out it did nothing more than the one in the car so that is going back and I am back to square one. This is not something I mess with much and the Sony Head Unit is nice but If I take it to a stereo shop they will want to install a new unit for tons of money. I wish I could know that power is going to the drivers side speaker before pulling the door panel.
