I replaced the yaw sensor (part number A0025428918 version 01-05) which is located between the gear stick and the handbrake in the cabin. The part was second hand from a Mercedes ML 270 Cdi W163 and cost me £18. Scanning showed no more variations in angle when parked, and the light has been off for the last year or more!
I don't know if I ever thanked you but you helped me about a year ago and told me the correct Autel MD802 to buy and got a good deal on eBay. It was able to read the BAS/ESP module that my MB II couldn't read. Turned out that it was a brake light switch. After replacing the brake light switch then the MB II could read all the modules again, so weird. Thanks for helping me a year ago!
