I listen to talk radio a lot while I'm on the road - most of it on AM. The stock radio was terrible for AM reception, but better than the Pioneer head unit I just installed. I know the antenna isn't really good for AM reception, and would loved to swap it out, but most antennas are hard wired and I'd have to run a new antenna wire all the way back to the front - not something I look forward to. Is there an antenna body or whip that can substitute for the flexible stock one by just unscrewing the old one and attaching the replacement?
