Yep, this is it hah. Yeah, I'm worried about the transmission but we will see. For right now it's something that bolts up for cheap. I've seen the 6 speed from the BMW, and I know it can take the torque, but it was actually pretty difficult to find one.
Tuning is easy, I usually run a MS3 Pro on projects like this.
o and grats on getting ahold of that engine, that would be fun project.
But with only 280 ft lbs of torque limit of the nsg370, and would have to upgrade later anyway, and the trans sizing is different.
I tried for years to get someone's old junk flywheel but I never could (talked with, before/after they took apart, and/or they took to shop)
I dislike a dual mass flywheel, it hates quick shifts, and quick downshifting hahaha, nope
daily driver trans and flywheel, not a lay into it trans and flywheel
PNC make the adapter and single mass flywheel
This is the same trans that is in the 6 soeed jeep wranglers, but different spline input shaft, and probably bellowing bokt pattern.
I did a single piece aluminium driveshaft in mine.
