Sorry for the delay in getting back on the final fix for this issue, but it is now fixed! Bad camshaft sensor! Looking back at receipts of the purchased parts I realized the camshaft sensor I bought came out of Germany, but wasn't a Bosch. That company produces sensors for Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, and the list goes on. It was a pretty expensive sensor. This time I bought a Bosch just like the crankshaft sensor which was a Bosch, thank goodness it's kind of a pain to change. Anyway, easy fix 5 minute swap, car starts and runs like a champ. Mom is super happy to have her hot rod back lol. Heed the forum and only buy Bosch sensors!

Im glad you figured it out. I have a non bosch cam sensor too after the car asked me for it. i need to get the original bosch. i suspect that is causing the hard crank.
